Pusat ternakan Belangkas Sedili Kecil , Kota tinggi , Johor

Pulai Desaru Beach Resort

The last time i was in desaru was more than a decade ago.I was still single back then and me and my buddy drove from KL to JB and then to mersing for pulau tioman. We had a brief stop in desaru and back then i thought desaru was just plain and boring . There was virtually nothing except a long stretch of beach.
Now being there again with my kids and family trailing along , the feel and perception about desaru change altogether. This place is really cool , there's plenty of activity that you can do with your family and plus the seaside is really amazing. The kids enjoy playing in the white clean sand while i enjoy dosing off under the cabana amid the seabreeze.
The whole family stayed at the PULAI DESARU BEACH RESORT , an excellent value for money 4 star hotel. The room is huge with excellent service and facility and it only cost us RM 188 pernight.Overall i do recommend this place and the whole family really enjoy our stay here , in fact we had decided that we will come back again for a second trip hopefully in the near future.
Seeing my kids enjoying themselves in the pool and the beach is enough to make me happy and unwind.A family is haven in a heartless world.

Belangkas Masak Cili

Highly recomended cooking this style.

My first experience in an operation theatre

I was admitted in SDMC yesterday for a minor operation to remove a small lump below my tounge . I had never been admitted before and therefore this is another first for xplorer.

The nurses came at 6am today and ask me to prepare for my operation . I was ask to change into a very revealing and sexy "nightgown".I was cool and confident until i was ask to lie down in the strecther and push into an operation theatre filled with nurses.I had always consider myself having a high level of threshold for pain but the sight of needle , scissors and knife made me nervous.

The procedure was done under local anhestesia and since it was done within my facial area, i could hear the snipping sound quite clearly and i tell you that it was not pleasant at all. After 40 minutes the whole procedure was over and as i lie in the ot room waiting for the doctor to do the stitches i was adamant that this is the first and the last OT experience for me , i need to take care of my body more seriously.

In the ward with the nurse .yours truely was admitted for one day for a minor surgery.

Waiting to be admitted at the lobby with JR.

Telur Ostrich goreng

Went to the Desaru ostrich farm recently in johor to purchase an ostrich egg.It cost me RM 60 for an egg and it weigh around 1.4 kg.I was told by one of the staff there that an ostrich egg contain no cholesterol and an egg is equivalent to 20 chicken egg.The egg shell is quite thick around 2.5mm and to open it properly while preserving the shell require the usage of a handrill as per ilustrated below.

An ostrich egg taste like a normal chicken egg when fried but there is a significant difference in term of texture, the texture is smoother and fluffier. The ratio of egg white to egg yolk is greater by 1 to 4 and it doesn't smell "hanyir" like a chicken egg.

1st step:identify the air sac . The air sac could be easily identified by using a torch light. It's an equivalent of an air bubble inside the egg. Then carefully drill the air sac area by using a stone grinder.Make sure that you dont break the membrane inside.

Step 2 : using a nail , puncture a small hole at the other end of the egg. This will ensure that the yolk inside flow smoothly through the other end.

Step 3 :break the membrane and the egg yolk will Flow through smoothly
