Rabbit Fun Land , Semenyih

Honestly this place was a let down in term of expectation . In term of variety of animal its not there . Most of the animal that's available is mostly common and the type of activity that you could do here is also limited . I've been to numerous rabbit farm across malaysia and i had seen better. This place should provide a lot more educational info  like various stages of rabbit developement and etc . This is the first and the last for me .

D'Muara Marine Park Sungai haji Dorani

I was driving to teluk intan recently when i saw a small sign in sabak bernam which had caught my attention . Being Xplorer , i decide to check it out .To my suprise there it was nestled next to an estuary , a small chalet by the name of Dorani Bayu Resort.
The facility was fairly basic but the the location was fantastic . The room was full for 3 month in advance but i was lucky to get a room for the following week due to other guest cancellation. At RM170 per night it was a bargain.

We spent most of our time fishing at the chalet balcony and i caught around 20++ of ikan duri and ikan gelama. This place offer something different from what we used to experience in other place . It's the relax kampung lifestyle that lure most of the visitor here. This place don't offer breakfast but that is not a problem as the local market is just a stone throw away and fresh local produce is available at a very affordable price.
At night the relaxing sound of the waves act as a lullaby and i woke up the next morning feeling refreshed.

Ikan Arrowana masak lemak

Arrowana is arguably one of the most expensive fish in the world . An adult golden crossback variant could cost you close to RM20k while the silver variant as per the below pic would cost around RM1k.My dad was cleaning the fishing pond one day when we notice the fish start to "pening2 lalat".We had done our best trying to revive the fish but failed .Being Xplorer , i need to try everything at least once. I decided to clean and cook the fish . The fish weigh around 7 kilo and it has a very smooth and greasy texture similar to ikan patin .
We decided to cooked it MASAK LEMAK style . Suprising it tasted really good and have some similarity with  GROUPER fish.Another first for Xplorer.
